DOG SLEDDING SAFARI IN HELSINKI - 3 HOURS

Meet the dogs and listen to what they have to say... and get ready for an unforgettable experience !

When you arrive, you'll meet our fantastic sled dogs. We'll familiarize you with the sled, teach you the basics of driving it and introduce you to the sled dog activity. Once this first step is completed, our 5 to 6 huskies will guide you safely by sled to explore the snowy landscapes of West Helsinki. We will ride as a group for 8 to 10 km. Our mushers will drive at the front and back of the line to ensure your safety. You will drive a sled or relax as a passenger.
We will stop for a campfire and a snack of Finnish specialties (pancakes with jam and whipped cream by the fire or beef and salmon sandwiches, Carelian pie and pastries) and coffee, tea or berry juice. You will taste the 'nokipannukahvi' coffee cooked on a wood fire, special but really delicious!
Back at the base camp, it will be time to share your memories and relive the experience.

Winter, Spring and Autumn
Departures every day at 9:30 or 13:00
Minimum group size : 1 person
Duration : 3 hours included safety briefing, driving instructions and break time/ 8-10 km (5-6 dogs, dog sled in winter, kart or kickbike)
Our safari is located about 40 km from Helsinki Central Railway Station. With the local train-bus combination, travel time is approximately 1h15 and 50 min by car. By local transport, you will be picked up by your guide at the final bus stop. Pickup at the bus stop and return to the bus stop are included in the price.
