Join us on a captivating adventure where you'll delve into the city's history, explore the local beer-making process and enjoy a selection of delicious beers !
We begin our journey in the beautiful town of Porvoo, where we stop for a coffee at Porvoon Paahtimo, nestled in a charming brick building on the banks of the Porvoo River. We're then accompanied by an English-speaking guide on a guided tour of Porvoo's old town, where we also delve into the history of prohibition and smuggling in the region.
Then it's on to Kråkö Bryggeri, nestled on the peaceful island of Kråkö. Here, we explore the brewery, learn about the ingredients and brewing process, and refine our palates with a tasting of different varieties of local beer. To round off the experience, we enjoy a delicious dinner at Kråkö Bryggeri. And why not test your "smuggling" skills by taking home a few bottles directly from the brewery ?
